Voting Update

1.  Please go onto the CBGA Blog and vote for this year's captains using the poll in the upper left corner.  Please vote for two different captains, and don't vote more than once, (this isn't American Idol). Make an effort to do this before Thursday as the elected captains will be drafting their teams on Thursday night. 

Ensure that your votes are in before 8 pm on Thursday. This will determine our Ryder Cup captains as well as our votes for this year's champion. Keep them coming!

CBGA 2012 Information

The CBGA weekend of the century is fast approaching. Based on the scores being entered in to Oobgolf it is obvious that everyone took advantage of the Summer season to prepare for this championship!

We have a great place lined up for the weekend where we'll be spending our time off the golf course. A pond, hot tub, ping pong table and air hockey... just to name a few things...There's also an outdoor fire pit for evening festivities. Bring your instruments and your voices....there may be a meshbacks reunion! With Anthony not there, no one will get the 'thumb down' for their performance.

Thursday, September 20th

As mentioned, the plan is to get up to the place Thursday night and leave Sunday am. We'll have a BBQ going for dinner thursday when you arrive.
Evening:
1) Ryder Cup teams determined
2) Pairings and competitions outlined.

Friday, September 21

27 holes at Batteaux Creek GC. Starting at 9:50 am
$113.00 (tax in) for golf, cart and range
-We will do a combination of Ryder Cup and CBGA Champion events

Saturday, September 22
18 holes at batteaux Creek GC starting at 9:30 am
$73.00 (tax in) for golf, cart and range
-We will do a combination of Ryder Cup and CBGA Champion events

Additional Costs/Items:
Ryan and I are going to buy the food so we'll ask each of you to pay us on Thursday when you arrive. We cannot source the exact price out yet but will get a rough estimate out to you all shortly.  
We have 7 guys for the weekend (Scott is not coming). So the cost for the chalet will be an additional $30.00/person. We will get an overall price to forward on once we decide on food costs.
Also $10.00 will be going to Jarrett again this year. $5.00 for the badges and $5.00 for the Hole in One pot.
Finally, we will not be going out the bars this weekend so bring your drinks for the weekend. Coolers would help as well!
