2015 CBGA UPDATE - Ganonoque
Gentleman,
The time has come upon us where we will soon come together and celebrate the sport of golf and reward those who rise to the top and become this year's CBGA Champion.
Todd and I have worked diligently over the spring and summer to secure a fantastic outing for the weekend of September 17-20, 2015 in scenic Ganonoque, Ontario.
The following itinerary and detail are below, and will soon be posted to the CBGA blog, where the traditional voting of captains will begin.
Hope you all are getting out there on the links this summer and gearing up your handicaps.

We have secured 27 holes each day at the following courses:

We have reserved 12 people to stay at the Stonepine Retreat located on beautiful Whitefish Lake.

All depends on number of people confirmed, but here are some estimated costs:
Golf - $157 + tax (Smugglers $89 + tax; Glen $68 +tax), includes GPS cart with leaderboards and lunch at Glen Lawrence.
Lodging - $219 each (assuming 8 people)
Food - tbd as we get closer

3:00 pm Able to check-in and arrive at the Stonepine Retreat.
3:01 pm The real golfers start to drink. Leader sweater is hung on the mantle.

8:30 am Practice Facilities at Glen Lawrence
9:30 am First 9 holes at Glen Lawrence
11:30 am LUNCH
1:00 pm Next 18 holes at Glen Lawrence
6:00 pm Back to Stonepine Retreat for traditional BBQ and tom-foolery. Kill the leader.

CBGA 2014 – Bay of Quinte
ITINERARY
Friday September 19:
9-9:15am: Meet at course
9:50am: 9 holes
Noon(ish): Lunch
1:00pm: 18 holes
5:30pm: Head to house for traditional
backyard BBQing, beer drinking, KP practicing, shuffle boarding, poker playing,
super sonicing, leader killing, Toddy tickling, midnight snacking, hot tubbing,
and best & worst shot reminiscing.
Saturday September 20:
7:30-8am: Juice/granola bars provided at
house. Coffees and substantial breakfasts can be picked up en route to course
8:01am: Leader chugs beer
9:00am: 18 holes
1:30(ish): Lunch
3:00pm: 9 holes
5:30pm: Head to house for gourmet steak
dining, wine sipping, jacket wearing, Champion awarding, beer drinking, poker
loss redeeming, double super sonicing, hard core acoustic rocking, trying to
stay up past 10 o’clock-ing.
Sunday September 21:
11:00am: Deadline for house to be cleaned
and vacated.
1:00pm: Sit on your couches, recover
and prepare for 2015!
ADDITIONALS
Black Bear
Ridge: $120 +tax.
Trillium
Wood: $85 + tax.
Food: Cost tbd closer
to event.
There is parking for 6
cars at the house. Carpool where possible.
Bring your own booze, Gatorade,
etc.
If you have a cooler bring
it. The fridge will fill up fast.
Bedding is provided but I
recommend bringing your own. Your call.
Bring your jackets… all
patches should be properly attached.

1- Pick our
